Healing Magdalene – Houston Premiere

Location: River Oaks Theatre. Date: 9/18/14.  Time: 7:00 p.m. Join Valvisions Foundation for the Houston Premiere of the internationally acclaimed “Healing Magdalene” on September 18 at 7PM.

This film is intended to create and raise awareness of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). “Healing Magdalene” will force us to question why we ‘blindly’ follow customs that others say is “best or better” without thinking about the effect, or simply asking: “Why?”

Our hope is this film will act as a catalyst to help eliminate FGM, therefore creating a universal balance among the genders.
