The big day is finally here!

The big day is finally here! The girls start their final exams today. All the Form 4’s countries- wide are locked up in the exam rooms-this will go on until the end of this month.  We talked to the girls; they were all ready and looking forward to starting the exams. We wish them the very best of luck as they sit their papers, finish secondary school, and move on to the next chapter of their lives.

We are reviewing the Choice Club curriculum for next year and getting help where necessary.  We also plan to visit the schools we intend to teach in next year. Schools will open the first week of January, so it is important to get the approvals this month. Most schools will be closed in December. All the Secondary schools are still open because of the ongoing exams, and if we go ahead and book the appointments now, we can have meetings with the relevant people in decision-making positions at the end of the exam period.

We are also planning for the graduation lunch/dinner that we will have for the girls once they finish the exams.

We need to ensure that all of the girls personal belongings are brought to the Holiday House. We will go through these and determine what the girls can take with them back home. They will carry all their beddings home. After 4 years of school, most of their beddings are worn out and not in a state to be used by other girls. The girls will carry whatever personal belongings home that they can use there.
