Kenya Drought

We are planning for a meeting this month in Nakuru.

There has been serious drought in Kenya, and the girls were hard hit. Pokot experiences very little rainfall even when the rest of the country has rainfall, so with the current drought it has been very hard for the girls and their families.

The girls are all okay, and they are coping with the situation.  The rains have also started, so we are all hopeful.  We pray the rains are adequate, so the famine in their area can ease up.

We have been talking to a few professionals and found someone who will accompany us to Nakuru to give the girls career guidance when we meet later in the month.
