Kenya Girls Escorted by Police
April 3, 2017
Public transport from and to Pokot is still a challenge, because most of the service providers fear being attacked. However, we have managed to get a police van that can transport the girls up to Marigat, and from there, they will be able to secure a van to bring them to Nakuru.
We have tentatively planned to meet on Friday, but the girls will have to spend the night and travel back home on Saturday morning; the same police van will take them back to their village. We will provide fuel for the police car. We are thinking of hosting them at my house in Nairobi as we don’t want them to spend the night in Nakuru without supervision. We will have lunch and dinner with them on Friday and catch up with their news and progress. They will spend the night at my house and on Saturday morning leave after breakfast.
