Kenya Girls Applying for National ID Cards

All is well with the girls; we spoke to them this past week. Three girls’ parents also called us to express their joy over the scholarships we have received so far. They have promised to encourage their children to be focused when they get into college and instill in them the need to keep away from bad company and anything else that might jeopardize their opportunity at college.

We have asked each of the girls that has already turned 18 years of age to apply for their National ID cards, so they can vote in the coming elections. We need the in-fighting that is in Pokot to end and that will mean electing the right leaders. The girls need to play a part in that decision making by voting the right people into office in the upcoming elections.
