College to Admit 2 Girls

We went to Thogoto Teachers College today and confirmed that they will admit two of the girls in August, despite their not having the admission letters yet from the Ministry. They usually have some vacancies left, and they consider students from remote areas like Pokot and give them priority if they have qualified for the course.

Our visiting girl will be leaving for home tomorrow. Elections are on the 8th of August, and since we do not know the outcome of the elections, it will be safer for her to be amongst her people. She will come back immediately after the elections. We pray for peace during this election period.
