Girls to Take CAT Exams
April 16, 2018
Continues Assessment Tests (CATs) are exams that the girls will sit this term as part of their continued learning. This is a build up to the main examination which they will sit in August as they finish the first year of their course. They will sit the CAT exam next week. We were talking to one of the girls today; she was so excited with the fact that they are almost done with the first year of college!
This past week they have been very busy. The fact that the girls are not full-time students means that they have a lot of work to catch up with when they report, but they have been able to cover the syllabus in time. Their classes go on till late in the evening. This evening, we managed to talk to them at 9.00pm once class was finished.
Yesterday being a Sunday, they went to Kikuyu town. We brought lunch for them and bought some fruits to supplement their diet. Thogoto is generally a cold area, but this past weekend the weather is good, so they are enjoying the sun.
The school will close on the 27th of this month, so the girls can prepare to go back for teaching practice which will resume on the 2nd of May.
